Music Boosters – Are you one?
If you have a child in band or choir at the middle or high school level, you are a booster! Even if you don’t, but wish to support the music programs in the G-E-T School District, you are a booster!

Attention Parents!
You c​an help your child earn points toward their Junior/Senior Music Trip.​ ​THE POINT SYSTEM (revised May 2017)

Meet the music teachers – learn more about boosters – attend the Booster meetings, at 7:00pm on the 3rd Monday of the month in the high school choir room, except for meetings that fall on the same night as a concert, when we will meet at 6:00 pm..

The current listing includes MOST of the Basketball games and Wrestling.  There are a few games, in January and February, that are not yet on the listing.  The sign ups for those games will come at a later date. If you have any questions, please contact your music director.

Vocal Point Sendoff Concert 
VP will be hosting a Sendoff Concert on Friday, April 13 @ 7:00pm. Come see Vocal Point one last time before they head to New York City to compete in Varsity Vocals International Championship of High School A Cappella against the top 8 groups in the country!!!  Tickets can be purchased at the high school. Adults $10, Students $5 (10 and under are free). Can’t wait to see you there!
Vocal Point took first place in the Varsity Vocals International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) at Midwest Semifianls  and will be moving on to the finals at Lincoln Center in New York City, on April 20th, 2018. Tickets are available at Congrats again to Mr. Stuempges and students!
Congratulations to Alanna Peters for Best Choreography. Way to go!

2018 Solo & Ensembles

The band students received two 2nd Place ratings and twenty 1st Place Ratings at solo & ensemble. This includes EVERY Class A event advancing to the State competition in May. There will be another set of students competing at the District Level on March 24.

The choir students competed in 35 events with 12 individuals or groups advancing to state.


Congratulations to Nicole J. and Nic P. for winning “Outstanding Soloist Awards” at the UW Stevens Point Jazz Festival.
2018 Luther College Dorian Honor Band Festival
Congratulations to the G-E-T High School Band students who were nominated and accepted into the Luther College Dorian Honor Band Festival.  The following students will be attending the Luther College Dorian Honor Band Festival on Monday, March 5: 

McKenzie Mahlum, Nicole Jones, Julia Skwierawski, Derek Dobbs, Paul Schacherl, Madison Brenengen, Ruben Cooksey, Bjorn Mortenson, Nic Petersen.

G-E-T will be well represented at this prestigious event.
