We will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week all of next week here at Trempealeau Elementary. Each day features a theme that helps us celebrate positive choices and living a drug-free life. Participation is optional, but please help remind your child of the schedule if they wish to participate. Any questions can be directed to Mr. Barth.
Mon., Oct. 28: Rally in Red – Wear red today to kick-off the Red Ribbon Week celebration!
Tue., Oct. 29: Alternative Tuesday – The definition of alternative is “available as another possibility”. Just like there are tons of alternative choices to using drugs, there are also lots of options for our daily wardrobe. Today, have some fun and wear as many different kinds of clothes in one day (examples: 2 kinds of shoes, mismatched socks, extra warm pants and short-sleeved shirt, clashing colors, etc…).
Wed., Oct. 30: Natural High Day – A natural high is a hobby, sport, art form or activity that makes you feel good and does not involve drugs/alcohol. Wear clothes that show others what your natural high is!
Thurs., Oct. 31: Say “Boo” to Drugs Day – Follow your teacher’s instructions regarding any costumes for Halloween.
Fri., Nov. 1: Team Up Against Drugs Day – Wear apparel that supports your favorite team, whether that is the Red Hawks, Packers or ANY other Team!
