Safe Tractor Driving Class Offered June 17-20

Youth between the ages of 12 and 16 that are planning to operate agriculture machinery are encouraged to sign up for this safety class. Classes will run June 17 through June 20 from 8:30am – 2:30pm at the high school, room 78.

All youth ages 12 through 15 are required to have a certificate to operate a farm implement on public roads. Youth operating an implement off his or her own farm are also required to possess a state or federal certificate.

Instruction will include 24 hours of both classroom and a tractor safety course. Students will receive their Wisconsin safety certificate and Federal certificate. Cost for the class will be for their book, $10.00. You may sign up for the course by calling the Gale-Ettrick Trempealeau High School.
