6th Grade English Language Arts Teacher

The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District is seeking a 6th Grade English English Language Arts Teacher at the Middle School.

Qualifications: We are seeking an innovative educator who has strong content knowledge, with the ability to teach all levels of high school English as well as work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.:

Requirements: Licensed to teach 6th grade English Language Arts. Strong literacy background.

Reading 316 license or coursework
English teaching license
Background in workshop model and conferring
UDL training

Job Description: A qualified candidate will work at G-E-T Middle School to first and foremost, build positive relationships with students and families to foster enriching learning experiences for the middle level learner. This candidate will embrace the workings of a professional learning community while demonstrating evidence of a lifelong commitment to learning through graduate coursework, conference attendance, and membership in professional organizations. This candidate must also have the ability to analyze, synthesize and implement data that supports and enhances student academic and affective learning.
