Ettrick Elementary 5th Grade Speakers do well

Oliver took 1st place in the Regional Environmental Speaking Contest in Viroqua Tuesday, January 23rd. He will now compete at the state level in Lake Geneva in March! Way to go, Oliver!
Ettrick Elementary has once AGAIN scored big!¬†Oliver Remus-Gr 5 has taken 1st place at the “Trempealeau County Conservation and Environmental Awareness Speaking Contest” that was held on Wednesday, January 11th. The contest is open to all 5th & 6th graders in Trempealeau County. 2nd place winner was, Thomas Ziegler and 3rd place winner was Nathanael Sorenson.
Oliver will now compete at the regional level in Viroqua later in the month. If he would win there, he would compete at the state level in Lake Geneva. The judges felt he has a very good chance of winning the regional contest. Congratulations to Oliver, Thomas & Nathanael. Best of luck to Oliver.
